This page exists because California’s CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws grant a right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. Below: how that applies to this site, and how to act on it.

What We Do That Counts

• There is no monetary sale of personal information by Drumroute. The practice that engages this right is narrower — where ads are served, advertising and cookie identifiers may be shared with ad partners. Given how broadly the statutes define ‘sale’ and ‘share’, we assume it counts and provide the opt-out.
• You do not have to be a subscriber for this to apply — it covers anyone reading what we publish on drumroute.com.

What Follows

After you opt out, targeted advertising ceases but advertising may not. The site itself is unchanged — no content is locked, no feature is removed, and no reader is disadvantaged for having exercised the right.

Three ways. Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser — we honour it automatically, and nothing further is required. Or use the consent banner, where presented, to refuse advertising cookies. Or write to hello@drumroute.com with the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. You do not need an account with us to do any of this.
